Health and Meter

Health

In FEXL, your health bar is simple, there is no gray life or recoverable life but there are some Gougi that can affect your lifebar in various ways. FEXL is played with 3 rounds and like all other fighting games the goal is to drain your opponent's life bar to zero or winning with more health left over when the time runs out. Health totals are universal among the cast(at 200HP). There is no stun or counter hits either.

While blocking you can be KO'd by Specials and Supers causing a chip kill.

Meter

Underneath the health bar you have your super meter gauge. There are 3 stocks that can be used to activate a Super or to use certain gougi that have been activated and cost meter to use. There are no EX/enhanced versions of special moves.

The way you gain meter is from attacking the opponent and you gain more meter by doing damage (like in most fighting games). The difference however is that the player taking damage receives very little meter in comparison to most modern fighting games.

An interesting part of FEXL is that whoever gets the first successful hit in the round will gain almost a full bar of meter for doing so. Be sure to capitalize on this once per round resource.

But how do I move?
